118 legislative and executive authorities of the Russian regions supported the bill protecting the rights of customers and domestic producers, introducing a ban on the return of unsold products to manufactures. Letters with official positions from regions continue to arrive. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Head of the Federal monitoring group "Fair price" Irina Yarovaya, writes the DairyNews, citing the website of the faction "United Russia" in the State Duma.
"To date, we have received 57 responses from the legislative authorities and 61 responses from the executive authorities of the regions. Expressing the position of the producers of their regions, the Legislative Assembly and regional governments support the bill on the return of unsld products to manufactures and do not make comments," - said the Head of the "Fair price".
"The official positions of the regions confirm that the monitoring groups "Fair price", working all over the country, held an objective and in-depth discussion of the problem, which allowed to make a legislative decision proposed and supported by manufacturers from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka. This is the main advantage of our project, it embodies the opinion of all regions of Russia and provides an honest balance of interests of the manufacturer and the seller in favor of the customer", - said Yarovaya.
"Return of unsold products is contrary to the economic interests of the country and causes direct damage to a conscientious domestic producer. Direct damage to the manufacturer is direct damage to the customer, therefore, protecting the manufacturer, we primarily protect the Russian customer", - said the parliamentarian.
"The ban on the return of unsold products will ensure fair competition among suppliers. It is important that the main arbitrator was the customer that chose the product on the basis of quality, price and range and not from manufactures who agreed to additional exactions of trade networks. The draft law is aimed at ensuring fair competition and protection against falsification," the Vice speaker concluded.
