Is farm revolution possible?

Some believe this to be the most rational government’s decision in recent times, others are totally against of it. There is also a third group of people, who claim, that the livestock population in private farms needs to be taken under control, but it primarily refers to hogs.
Russian government instructed the Ministry of Agriculture to work out amendments to legislation relating to regulation of relations in private farming.

The Altay Region declaimed against the government’s intention. According to Nikolay Khalin, a representative of regional Ministry of Agriculture, this approach is wrong and ineffective as far as it requires taking into account numerous factors. It can lead to non-disclosure of livestock population.

Vladimir Surovtsev from Northwest Research Institute of Economics and Agriculture on the contrary believes the initiative will contribute to reliable information gathering.
