The expert reported this during the analytical session on global and local trends in the food business at the autumn exhibition of food WorldFood, writes The DairyNews from the event.
"Now we see the volatility of the consumer market, as we remember, it collapsed in 2015-2016. In 2017, the market began recovering gradually, and now, according to the latest data, the growth of retail turnover in our country is 1.7%. In general, I think this is a positive trend. However, after such a deep fall in 15-16 years, the recovery that we see in the last year and a half, looks very modest", - said Ivan Fedyakov.
