Justus Walker is planning to run a farm with sheep and goats in Altai region in 2018

"We build [the third in a row farm in Altai region after two in Krasnoyarsk region], we hope, next spring we will start – there will be 60 head of dairy goats and 100 head of sheep. Part of our project is information - when we receive a certain result and see profitability, we are going to offer people full information pack with recommendations on how to build a farm from scratch," - said Walker at the Anti-corruption forum of the Russian popular front in Novosibirsk.

He did not name the volume of investments into the farm, noting that the financial statements will be included in the package of recommendations.

According to Walker, the average farm designed for a relatively small number of clients is a promising format for Russia.

"Our goal is to produce a quality product at an average price and deliver it to the end user. We need 250-300 regular customers for the farm to succeed. I think this format is the future of agriculture in Russia", - said the farmer.

Justus Walker became known to the Russians in 2014 after he gave an interview to one of Federal channels on the introduction of grocery sanctions. In Krasnoyarsk region Walker created two farms and produced milk, soft cheeses and lamb. At the end of 2016, he moved to Altai region and, in addition to agricultural products, he is planning to develop rural tourism.

Anti-corruption forum, organized by the project of the Russian popular front "For fair procurement", held in Novosibirsk on November 28. More than 1 thousand people from 14 regions of the Russian Federation, including all regions of Siberia take part in it.
