Kazakhstan lifts restrictions on agricultural exports imposed due to coronavirus
All restrictions on agricultural exports will be lifted from June 1 this year, reported the press service of the Ministry of agriculture.
The new document recognizes the orders of April 2 and 14, 2020 "On certain issues of export of certain goods from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan" as invalid.
Control over the implementation of this order will be provided by the supervising Vice-Minister of agriculture of Kazakhstan.
Earlier, due to the introduction of the state of emergency in Kazakhstan and the instruction of the head of state to prevent a shortage of socially important food products in the domestic market, the Ministry of agriculture introduced temporary regulation of agricultural exports for reasons of food security and in order to preserve sufficient reserves until the new harvest.
The state of emergency was in effect in Kazakhstan from March 16 to May 11.
