Kharon Amerkhanov: over the last three years in the dairy industry there were implemented 176 projects

As it was stressed by Amerkhanov, in 2017 the production of milk in farms of all categories amounted to 31.12 million tons versus 30.76 million tons in the previous year (an increase of 1.17%). Milk yield per cow last year was 5 836 kg.

"By 2020, the task is to bring this figure up to 6150 kg. But it will be at least 6 300 kg," - said Amerkhanov.

He also reported that over the past three years in the dairy industry there were implemented 176 projects, there were delivered 125.3 thousand animals to new and upgraded farms. This gave the opportunity to increase milk production by 752 thousand tons.

The Head of the Department said that the increase in genetic potential and in productivity of animals at agricultural enterprises, farm holdings and private farms is one of the resources for further development of the industry.

We will remind that according to the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, in 2017, the state invested 36 billion rubles of state support in the dairy industry.
