According to Konstantin Sinetsky, General Director of the Southern Dairy Union, in 2022 the dairy industry is expecting an increase in prices for raw milk, accompanied by an increase in cost. The expert said this in a comment to The DairyNews.
‘Taking into account the fact that the state has declared the export orientation of the industry, taking into account the continuing rise in the cost of production, we expect a sharp decline in the quality of dairy products in the domestic market of Russia and the export of high-quality products abroad. We are preparing enterprises for the fact that the price of raw milk will continue to grow, so the cost price will also increase,’ Konstantin Sinetsky commented.
The expert added that next year the Southern Dairy Union would actively work on the unification of dairy processing enterprises in the South of Russia. According to the expert, this is necessary to defend their positions in the market even more effectively.
