Korenovsky dairy and canning plant increased exports by 20%
According to General Director Igor Moskovtsev, there is a constant reconstruction aimed at introducing new directions. As a result, the plant increased the volume of milk acceptance from 350 to 650 tons per day and took the first place in the region in terms of its processing.
This year, the investment project signed at RIF Sochi-2018 was implemented: a shop for the production of waffle cups for ice cream was put into operation. The volume of investments amounted to 400 million rubles.
The Governor was shown how to make ice cream cups, cones, and waffles from local raw materials – 850 thousand pieces a day. Previously, they had to be purchased.
– Now it is a completely Kuban product. Korenovsk ice cream is well known and loved not only in Kuban, in Russia, but also far beyond the borders of our country. This confirms the high quality of the product. Thanks to such enterprises, the region enters the world market with competitive products - said Veniamin Kondratyev.
To date, Korenovsky dairy and canning plant is the only company in the region that produces condensed canned dairy products and supplies them, as well as ice cream for export. In 2019, 3.7 thousand tons of products were exported to 30 countries. Moreover, this year, in just 8 months, exports have already amounted to 143% – more than 3.4 thousand tons of all products.
Ice cream is supplied to China, Mongolia, Germany, Vietnam, Canada, USA, UK, Seychelles and other countries. Currently, the Rosselkhoznadzor is conducting a survey of the plant's products in order to expand supplies to Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Israel and the Czech Republic.
