Korenovsky dairy and canning plant intends to increase the export of ice cream by 20%
- Last year, more than 400 tons of ice cream were sent for export, at the end of this year, we expect an increase of 20%, conditionally exports will be about 500 tons, - said Igor Moskovtsev. – In addition, we are currently conducting a survey with the Rosselkhoznadzor on the supply of products to three more countries - Israel, Saudi Arabia and South Korea. These will be the first trial batches. I will not say that export is a key area for us now, and we sell more products on the domestic market, but it is interesting as a prospect.
At the moment, the company supplies ice cream to 20 countries near and far abroad. The foreign partners of the plant include Germany, Serbia, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. In addition, the products of JSC Korenovskiy dairy and canning plant is sold almost all over the Russian Federation.
According to Igor Moskovtsev, the opening of new sales markets is complicated by the difference in the requirements of Russia and importing countries in terms of labels, accompanying documentation, and consumer information. He also noted that after the first shipments, the company is almost always forced to finalize one or another point.
At the same time, the plant is constantly working on expanding the product line: this season there appeared new products - ice cream in briquettes, ice cream "Lakomstvo", including pistachio in pistachio glaze, etc. A line of sugar-free ice cream was also launched, for those who appreciate a healthy lifestyle, as well as yogurt ice cream.
