The company’s controlling stock interest – 72.16% - belongs to American Gemini Group Inc.
The prime plant is situated in Simferopol, along with that among the company’s proprietary assets are dairy plants in Belogorsk and Kerch, as well as butter making plant in Razdolnoye.
99.49% share of Yevpatoriysky Gormolokozavod also belongs to the Public Company Krymmoloko. According to official documents, the company started to face financial troubles in 2013.
On November, 25th 2014 a shareholder meeting was held where it was announced by Chairman of Board Mikhail Kurkov that the company had serious debts. Substantially the company was made bankrupt.
In September 2014 Office of Investigations of Simferopol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia opened an investigation for fraud. According to Chairman of Supervisory Board A.Polyakov, former plant’s top management alienated property of Krymmoloko in favour of individuals – relatives – and in favour of interested legal bodies at underestimated price. Loans taken out in banks under enslaving terms were not invested into production.
The plant’s executive team planned to restore the production and to continue developing and increasing its capacities. But in 2016 it was announced unexpectedly that the company stops business in Crimea due to unprofitability.
