- As for labeling, I can only give this initiative a negative assessment, because I consider it a risk of increasing the volume of unrecorded products. The main task of labeling - in terms of, for example, labeling products with high cost - is to bring the market out of the shadow into the "white" zone", said Andrey Shutov. - But there are significantly less volumes, more falsified goods, and the unit price of the product is significantly higher, then the cost of labeling will slightly affect the final cost of the product, and this is budget efficiency.
He also noted that it is absolutely impractical to label piece goods that the consumer buys daily, since this will increase the cost many times, which will logically lead to an increase in the price of this product, which means that it will reduce the purchasing power and force companies to abandon the production of piece goods.
