Just to remind, according to the draft government resolution, labeling of finished products can be introduced as early as June 1, 2020. Currently, an experiment, in which about 30 companies participate, is under way according to the CATD (labeling operator).
According to estimates of Soyuzmoloko, the introduction of labeling will cost the dairy industry 45 billion rubles, the Dairy Union of Russia predicts a series of bankruptcies of enterprises with the processing capacity of up to 300 tons of milk in case of the introduction of mandatory labeling.
