Laboratory control of the state order for food can be introduced before the end of this year - Gordeev
"It is necessary to amend the relevant laws and regulatory framework related to the fact that the quality of food supplied, primarily referring to the social sphere - budgetary institutions, schools, kindergartens and hospitals, has to be periodically confirmed by laboratory method", said A. Gordeev to reporters.
"We will try to do it quickly, this year we will make a decision", he added.
According to him, inspections should be the responsibility of both the supplier and the customer, "who would have the right to carry out such inspections in certain certified laboratories". "This should be one of the main elements of the relevant contracts for the supply of food", the Deputy Prime Minister said.
A. Gordeev said that in some regions, for example in Bashkiria, the obligation to carry out laboratory verification of food was recorded in the statutes of budgetary institutions. "That means, someone has already found a legal way that does not require a lot of legislative work. But we believe that it is better to legislate taking into account the fact that the topic is important", - said the Deputy Prime Minister.
For the first time the idea of introducing laboratory control of the state order for food was announced at the meeting of A. Gordeev with the Chief of Roskachestvo Maxim Protasov at the end of February this year.
As reported, the Deputy Prime Minister supported the proposal to amend the practice of the Federal law "On the contract system in the procurement of goods, works and services for state and municipal needs" in order to make mandatory laboratory tests of purchased goods with a high risk of falsification. He also spoke in favor of laboratory research of the entire food state order.
A. Gordeev also did not deny the idea of taking certain measures against products of the enterprises-violators like certificate revocation.
