LLC TH Iceberry opened an ice cream factory in Yaroslavl region
‘We signed an agreement on implementation of the investment project with the company Iceberry at the agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn" in October 2019,’ said Governor of Yaroslavl region Dmitry Mironov. ‘Now the company is ready to produce up to 3 thousand tons of products per month, about 500 new jobs have been created. In the future, production volumes will increase to 7 thousand tons, and the staff will be doubled. We plan that when it reaches full capacity, which is planned for the first quarter of 2022, the enterprise will become the largest in Russia.
‘The work with investors in the region is organized at a high level, this played an important role in choosing the site,’ said Roman Lola, General Director of LLC TH Iceberry. ‘We have become residents of the territory of advanced development, where state support measures are guaranteed. In addition, we received preferential financing from Rosagroleasing, because we were building export production. We have a great team. Most of the specialists are from Tutayev district, there are some from Yaroslavl and Rybinsk. I hope that together, by the end of the year, we will produce delicious ice cream under the brand “Yaroslavia” at our factory.
With the introduction of the factory into operation, good prospects will open for Yaroslavl dairy producers. They can count on guaranteed sales of their products.
Increasing competition in the market will help to preserve the traditionally high quality of ice cream. In 2020, Yaroslavl region produced 1,530 tons of this type of product, which is 163% compared to the level of 2019. When the Iceberry factory in Tutayev reaches its design capacity, it is planned to increase production volumes to 85 thousand tons per year in the region.
Now in the region ice cream is produced by LLC Rybinsky dairy plant, LLC Ramoz, LLC Yarmolprod. In addition to the factory in Tutayev, an enterprise in the city district of Pereslavl-Zalessky began operating this year. In the future, the company Kosmol plans to engage in the production of ice cream, an agreement with which was signed in June this year at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
