Lyudmila Manitskaya called eco-and bio-products the main falsification in Russia

Now there is only the term "organic" in the legislation.

‘If milk processors want to produce bio- or eco-milk, they must understand what raw materials can be used for their production. Which animal should we get it from? What should be the housing conditions, which feed and additives can be used? There are no answers to these questions today,’ said Lyudmila Manitskaya, Director of the Dairy Union of Russia.

At the same time, such products are already fully represented on the shelves of stores. It turns out that eco - and bio — products are the main falsification, the expert said.

Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Regulations and Organization of Parliamentary Activities Vyacheslav Timchenko supported her.

‘I propose to instruct our committee to request information from the Government about the planned subordinate acts to the law on organic products, analyze them and make a decision on the development of additional documents in this area,’ the senator said.
