Manufactured in Russia products should not have Italian names, they should be sold under Russian brands, believes the President of Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce (IRCC) Mr. Rosario Alessandrello.
IRCC is negotiating creation of joint production of cheese in Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, said Mr. Rosario Alessandrello. According to his words it’s impossible to place mozzarella, burrata and parmesan productions in Russia as far as these types of cheese are produced of buffalo milk – milk of buffalo cows grown in the region Campania close to Naples.
Years are needed to create such a farm production in Russia, and even in case it is created, the final product will be similar to the original Italian product, not the Italian one, commented IRCC President.
