Medvedev commissioned to expand the geography of supplies of Russian agricultural products
Thus, according to the document, in Russia it is necessary to increase the availability of the main types of transport infrastructure for agricultural producers and expand the geography of supplies of agricultural products, according to the plan of competition development. To this end, the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia and the Ministry of transport need to prepare proposals on tariffs for transportation of agricultural cargoes by railway transport within the framework of the development of a new cargo price list in the third quarter of 2018.
Within the same period, the Ministry of agriculture and FAS have to prepare proposals for the regulation of tariffs for the transshipment of grain to deep-water ports. In addition, the Ministry of agriculture and the Ministry of transport were instructed to prepare proposals in the third quarter on measures to stimulate the production of wagons for the transport of various types of fruits, perishable goods, including potatoes and vegetables.
In the fourth quarter the Ministry of agriculture has to assist the industry in the equipment of hubs for transshipment of agricultural goods, says the document.
