The expenditures of the Federal budget for support of agrarian and industrial complex in 2018 can be maintained at the level of the current year, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev during a meeting on Federal budget expenditures for 2018 and the planned period of 2019-2020.
He called very important not to lose the pace in this sector. "Basically, the funds for state support of the agricultural sector and the fishing industry come in the framework of the implementation of two state programs, and there are proposals to leave the Federal budget expenditures on the agricultural sector next year at the level of the current year", — said Medvedev.
The Prime Minister noted that the agricultural sector of the Russian economy is currently on the rise. "Not only have we increased the level of food security, but have begun to increase the supply of agricultural products for export," — said Medvedev. He also reminded of the work on improving logistics, investing in the development of agricultural science, etc.
