Mikhail Mishchenko: according to “Mercury”, 21 million tons of milk is produced in Russia
According to the expert, analysts have a document with data from the “Mercury” system, according to which 21 million tons of milk is produced in Russia.
"We know that in terms of production volumes, this is approximately the case. In "Mercury" there are mistakes, there is something to find fault with. As a result, we are confident that 19.6 million tons is the right amount that we can operate with", said Mikhail Mishchenko.
According to the analyst, in 2019, the volume of natural milk consumption in Russia amounted to about 23 million tons.
"Milk consumption is growing due to the fact that production is growing. All the milk that is produced in Russia is consumed within the country. In recent years, Russia has been deficient in milk", Mikhail Mishchenko said.
