According to Director of the Russian Dairy Research Center (RDRC) Mikhail Mishchenko, production of marketable milk in Russia will grow by 2.6% in 2017. He said this, speaking at the conference "How to build a plant?" at the exhibition "Agroprodmash", reports The DairyNews.
The expert noted that the number of dairy cows in 2017 will be reduced by approximately 0.09% to the level of 2016.
According to the analyst "the production of marketable milk in 2017 will increase by approximately 2.4%. The production of milk per capita will grow by 2.6%".
For comparison, according to RDRC, in 2016 the production of marketable milk in Russia reached 17.1 million tons. There was produced about 117.4 kg of milk per capita.
