Milk producers in Sverdlovsk region organized production to protect milk
Igor Pekhotin stressed that anti-dairy propaganda from the screens of Federal channels leads to an increase in anxiety among the population: the demand for products in general without the division into milk beverage and milk is becoming less.
- Mass media continue to "intimidate" the people with a falsification, but it is unclear who benefits from this situation. We have to fight – to speak about advantage of milk, otherwise agriculture will fall into decay, – Pekhotin noted.
The media and social networks are now discussing the dangers and benefits of milk and dairy products. Public organizations for the protection of consumer rights accuse producers of total falsification of dairy products, the "green" Research and Production Associations and representatives of the vegan movement impute farmers with animal abuse. The reputation of milk and dairy products in the eyes of consumers is under threat.
The expert added: to achieve the growth of consumption of healthy food, it is necessary to talk about the beneficial properties of natural products, including milk. To achieve this goal, the dairy enterprises of the region decided to join forces.
- Milk producers of Sverdlovsk region raised funds and established cooperation with the Agency, which will help to organize the promotion – a kind of "fashion production", which will raise the topic that it is impossible to live without milk. The initiative was supported even by collective farmers, they made their contribution, only Federal large enterprises refused. Ignoring statements and actions against farmers and dairy producers exacerbates the problem of growing distrust of milk and the dairy industry.
