Controlled by Sergey Kalinin, Member of Legislative Assembly of Omsk Region (Russia), Milkom plans to build a huge milk processing plant in Omsk Region. The new site will process 200 tons of milk per day, investments into the project will total 300 mln rub. Market experts expect sharpening of competition on the regional market of raw milk.
The new plant is expected to produce milk, kefir, curd, yoghurts under the brand Milkom. New equipment from Russia and Sweden was already purchased, it will process and pack the products into ecological packaging.
