Minsk is waiting for the soon lifting of restrictions on supplies from some agricultural enterprises to Russia – Ministry of agriculture of Belarus

Earlier, the Rosselkhoznadzor for various reasons imposed restrictions against a number of Belarusian agricultural enterprises for the supply of products to the Russian market. At the end of June the Minister of agriculture and food of Belarus Leonid Zayats reported that restrictions for two major Belarusian meat processing plants, four poultry companies and 19 dairy plants are still valid.
 
"The process is going on. The following documents are under consideration. We agreed that this process (of lifting the restrictions of the Rosselkhoznadzor – ed.), after all, was dynamic. We are constantly working on it, waiting for the next opening of enterprises (to work in the market of Russia – ed.)", - said Bogdanov

He reminded that recently the restrictions were lifted in respect of several enterprises, which previously fell under the ban of the Rosselkhoznadzor. The representative of the Ministry of agriculture in this regard, stressed that the number of enterprises under the restrictions of the Russian authorities, is gradually declining.

In general, the export of the enterprises subordinated to the Ministry of agriculture, in the first half of the year, according to operational data, rose almost by 17% to 1.23 billion dollars, including the supply of food to Russia that increased by 15%; 92% of food exports is for the Russian market, however, he said, the Russian market share in exports is decreasing because of the policy of diversification of deliveries of Belarusian agricultural products.
