"Miratorg" can make a new restaurant project

The agro-industrial holding "Miratorg" has applied to Rospatent for registration of the trademark "Pink calf" — under this name the holding company may launch its second restaurant project. It will promote in Russia rose veal, the production of which the company has started this year.
Restaurateurs say that at the moment this product is unpopular on the market but a new project may improve the demand, and the concept of mono-product restaurants is becoming more popular.
The application for registration of the trademark "Pink calf" in the category "snack bars, cafes, burger, meat restaurants" etc. has been filed by "Miratorg" to Rospatent in early May of 2017, as follows from the data base "SPARK-Interfax". In the holding they explained that by the beginning of the production of rose veal, which will be delivered primarily to Russian restaurants, in Kursk region. The first shipment there will take place in the third quarter of this year. Plans for the development of private institutions called "Pink calf" were not commented on in "Miratorg".
"Miratorg" is one of the largest meat producers in the country. In 2016, the holding increased beef production by 34.8%, to 62.1 thousand tons, pork — by 6.2% to 409 thousand tons, poultry — by 37%, up to 102.2 thousand tons. Revenue for the same period increased by 25%, up to 120 billion RUB. The owners of "Miratorg" are brothers Viktor and Alexander Linnik.
