Molochny Kit will launch production at the Rospotrebnadzor plant in Moscow

Production will begin at the pilot plant of the Moscow Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after G. N. Gabrichevsky, owned by Rospotrebnadzor. The specialists of the Research Institute together with the company brought out colonies of strains of 12 bacteria that restore the intestinal microflora in the human body. Synbiotics produced at the site in Moscow will be sent to the plant in Bogdanovich, and there they will be used to enrich dairy products, said Sergey Maizel, Chairman of the board of directors of LLC Molochny Kit to RBC Yekaterinburg.

‘Unfortunately, we do not have people in the Urals who know how to make bacteria correctly. In addition, there is no science that we need, so we will have to do it in Moscow and bring it here. We will rent space, buy equipment and establish one of the branches there,’ the entrepreneur explained.

According to Sergey Maizel, it will take 6-8 months to start production. Now the site is being equipped and tests on the introduction of the bred bacteria into the fermented milk environment are being continued.

‘The thing is that live bacteria behave differently in different dairy cultures. Moreover, in order to bring them alive to the buyer, it is necessary to preserve the so-called titers of these cultures. This is what my colleagues in Moscow are doing now,’ the businessman said.

The company Molochny Kit produces products under five brands: "Polyanka", "Three cows, two cats", "Today and always", "Our Masha" and "Kamyshlovsky kvass". Production is carried out at three sites: Polevskoy dairy plant ("Polyanka"), Bogdanovichsky city dairy plant (the rest of the dairy products) and Kamyshlovsky beverage plant (kvass). The dairy plants are provided by a farm owned by Sergey Maizel himself. The total volume of milk processing is 250 tons per day. The products of the line Our Masha have been supplied to dairy kitchens of Sverdlovsk region since 2015.
