Molvest may start export of dairy products

According to Arkady Ponomaryov, founder of one of the biggest dairy holdings in Russia, State Duma Deputy, the company started keeping to the policy of import substitution long before the food embargo was introduced.
Having the current potential Molvest could start exporting products abroad. Among possible foreign partners – Asia, China, CIS countries, Iran, India, neighboring countries like Azerbaidzhan, said the expert. According to his words, today these countries import dairy products from Europe and Russia could displace them.
Molvest is a big producer of dairy products; its annual volume of processed milk exceeds 400 thousand tons. The company rates third among Russian top dairy products sellers after Danone and PepsiCo. The holding includes eight factories in different Russian regions. Its core asset is the dairy complex Voronezhsky. Molvest produces more than 200 product items including yellow cheese.
