More than 6 thousand restaurateurs plan to join the "COVID-free" area - Alexey Nemeryuk
The expert stressed that at the moment in many countries of Europe and Asia, various organizations, including catering establishments, let visitors in using QR codes.
According to him, when scanning the QR code, the first letters of the first and last name, as well as the date of birth of the visitor, are displayed on the screen.
‘The COVID-free system of restaurants is simple and most comfortable for both business and visitors. As for the food courts, there are three options: to make the entire area for delivery, divide it into a delivery area and a COVID-free one, or to make the food courts completely COVID-free,’ Alexey Nemeryuk said.
The expert reminded that those staying in hotels will not need to receive QR codes, and summer verandas will work for visitors without an "immune certificate" until July 12.
He also said that more than 6 thousand restaurateurs have already applied to the department in order to switch to "COVID-free area". According to him, on average, about 300 requests are recorded per hour from enterprises planning to work not only for takeaway, but also with the use of a QR-code system.
