Morocco : Iran - 91:120 in favor of milk
According to the Russian Dairy Research Center (RDRC), the consumption of milk per capita per year in Morocco was 91.4 kg in 2017. In Iran it made 119.6 kg.
Iran is also the leader in production, where about 7.5 million tons of cow's milk is produced. It is worth noting that according to IFCN in 2016, the production of cow and buffalo milk in Iran reached 8.67 million tons, the number of cows and buffalo - 3.2 million heads. In Morocco milk production amounted to 2.46 million tons last year.
The number of dairy cows in the Kingdom of Morocco is 1.7 million heads, in the Islamic Republic of Iran - 1.9 million heads.
According to open sources, the consumption of fresh milk in Iran is 27.1 kg per year, cheese - 4.7 kg per year, butter - 1 kg per capita per year.
