This was said by Deputy Head of Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) in an interview to TASS.
According to his words, the situation with falsification is becoming stronger. The reason for that is very simple – profitability. The market is facing an unfair competition: a fair dairy producer is forced to compete with an unfair one, and the latter wins because his product is cheaper, said the official. He added that even if a company wants to produce natural products, it cannot do it in current conditions.
As a result the share of adulterated product is increasing. This process will go on until an adequate controlling system is created, said Rosselkhoznadzor Deputy Head.
