Opinion: the introduction of EVC for finished dairy products will cause an increase in prices
– If we talk about Omsk region, there are not enough raw materials in the dairy market. The price is still the same as it was in winter and the decline is not planned closer to the summer, because there is simply no milk. I think this is due to the specifics of the region, because the compensation is very different from the neighbors. And the market in our country, unfortunately, depends on subsidies, – commented the businessman.
The expert drew attention to the following – moving from region to region and paying attention to the roads, fields, you can see how the region lives and get an idea of the local budget. Omsk farmers receive a subsidy of 60 kopecks per liter of milk – for comparison, in Tyumen a similar payment is 3 rubles, in Tomsk – 7 rubles, in Novosibirsk – 2.6 rubles.
Speaking about the change in the physical price of raw milk by the summer, the anonymous expert suggested that it will remain at the same level.
– Expectations are possible at the level of not more than 1 ruble. The reasons are now difficult to predict – last summer was abnormally cold, forage crops were sown late and they were of poor quality. Today, farms are still using last year's forages, until the fresh green grass is ready. It may be that the current situation is a reflection of last year's problems. When there are green forages, maybe we will jerk forward, – the expert noted.
The introduction of EVC for finished dairy products, in his opinion, will cause an increase in prices, but it is difficult to say to what extent.
– Today, no one can answer the question about the dynamics of the milk price after July 1. But the market is full of falsified products – there are factories that produce a huge number of poor-quality dairy products, nothing is done with them. I hope that "Mercury" will help "to collapse" dishonest enterprises and to clear the market of substandard products, – said the businessman from Omsk.
