Pavel Grudinin: there are no prospects in dairy production
‘In my opinion, there are no prospects in dairy production, but we, the producers, can't do anything else. Therefore, we will produce milk in any conditions,’ Pavel Grudinin said.
The General Director of the State farm named after Lenin noted that he does not see a massive increase in production due to state support in the last two years.
‘I believe that at the time when national projects to support the agro-industrial complex were launched, significant mistakes were made. First of all, how can we calculate the cost of production in an unstable price environment? In addition, dairy investors are often unaware of the possible amount of spending that awaits them in the future. No one tells us that there will be "Mercury", no one tells us that there will be labeling, that control will increase. Any business plan is not implemented in such conditions,’ Grudinin says.
