A new plant for the production of baby food "Agusha" worth 2.6 billion rubles has been opened in Krasnodar region, reports the DairyNews, citing the press service of PepsiCo.
The company PepsiCo has completed the construction of a new plant of baby food in Krasnodar region. The production site is opened on the territory of Timashevsky dairy plant, one of the largest milk processing enterprises in the region.
The new plant of baby food in Timashevsk, modern production with its own communications, will produce products under the well-known brands "Agusha" and "Chudo detki". Now the company has high-tech production line for children curds "Agusha", its capacity is 21400 packages per hour. With the launch of the new facility, Timashevsky dairy plant will increase the total production capacity of the plant by 25 tons of finished products per day and will amount to 725 tons. The range of the enterprise will expand by 10 positions.

The new plant in Timashevsk will be focused mainly on production for residents of the Southern and North Caucasian Federal districts and will strengthen our position in the market of baby food in these regions and in the country", said Neil Sturrock at the opening of the plant.
Neil Sturrock thanked the administration of the region for the support in the implementation of the project, and the Governor, in his turn, said: "The plant for the production of baby food was opened in the shortest possible time. Today it is a new branch of processing in Timashevsk district, it is a real breakthrough. This is a great opportunity to increase dairy production, Kuban dairy products and to provide residents with environmentally friendly baby food".
Timashevsky dairy plant was founded in 1990 and became one of the largest milk processing plants in the southern region and the first enterprise producing ultra-pasteurized milk. The plant produces more than 100 kinds of dairy products under the brands "Kubanskaya burenka", "Chudo", "Vesely molochnik", "Domik v derevne", "Frugurt", BioMax®, as well as baby food "Agusha". The enterprise buys raw milk from 17 agricultural producers of Krasnodar region. Today Timashevsk dairy plant employs about 500 residents of Timashevsk and neighboring areas.
