"PiR Product" during the quarantine increased the packing of cheeses by 20%
"We remained in the happy zone of the sector, which was not affected in any way and was in demand. Our main specialization is cheese packing, and as soon as almost all trade went online, the demand for packaged cheeses increased dramatically. Packaging increased by more than 20% compared to the same period last year – in April, May, June", - said Yuri Vlasenko.
The expert added that for this reason, the plant even had to introduce additional shifts, since traditionally May is a moderate month in terms of production volumes (many people are already leaving for cottages or vacations), and this year everyone stayed at home.
At the same time, the production of whole milk products of the group of companies “PiR Product” decreased slightly – it amounted to about 10%.
"People have started to save money. But for our plant, this drop was so insignificant that we did not take any drastic measures (to reduce staff or introduce other strict restrictions) ", said Yuri Vlasenko.
