Belarus has resumed the supply of large quantities of whey to China. In April-May there was a decrease in export while in June it was at least 50%. Maxim Fasteev, a leading analyst of Infagro, wrote about this in his official telegram account, writes The DairyNews.
‘The prices, of course, are not like they were in March, but they are quite competitive in comparison with the Russia,’ the expert wrote.
In general, according to him, in the first half of the year, the share of shipments of Belarusian whey powder to China is 53%, to Russia - 26%, to Southeast Asia - 11%, to Japan - 3%, to Kazakhstan - 2%.
Earlier, Maxim Fadeev said that in June, after the start of the first stage of labeling, it was quite expected that there was a collapse in the supply of Belarusian cheeses to Russia.
