Potential of new dairy farms in Russia is at the level of 2.4 million tons - Andrey Dalnov
In his opinion, the development of the industry is facilitated by import substitution and the provision of raw materials for the capacities for the production of dairy products.
- An additional factor may be the growth of exports of dairy products, - added Andrey Dalnov.
As noted by Artem Belov, CEO of Soyuzmoloko, the change in the format of consumption has helped to increase the popularity of traditional categories of dairy products in retail chains that are in demand for home nutrition. At the same time, the expert admits that overall demand has decreased against the background of the pandemic, and says that in the medium term, the risks of reducing demand remain.
Artem Belov also said that the growth of b2c demand was noted in retail chains and in the culinary categories of dairy products, despite the increase in prices.
