Prices for dairy products at GDT auctions continue to rise
The weighted average price for dairy products at the 296th GDR auction was 4,287 USD/kg. Taking into account the weakening of the ruble against the dollar compared to the previous auction, the weighted average price of dairy products in the Russian currency increased by 3.6% to 309.8 rubles / kg, which is 27.6% higher than November 2020.
In total, 30,397 tons of dairy products were sold at the auction, 482 tons more than at the previous auction. The number of bidders - 175.
Prices for all products continued to rise at the auction: skimmed milk powder (+1.4%), lactose (+1.6%), butter (+3.5%), dehydrated milk fat (+1.3%), cheddar (+2.2%) and whole milk powder (+1.9%).
The next Global Dairy Trade auction will take place on December 7, 2021.
