Producers have very few tools to falsify dairy products. This was stated to Agroinvestor by CEO of Streda Consulting Alexey Gruzdev, commenting on the news that the Prosecutor General's Office initiated a quality check of products in Russia, writes The DairyNews.
We remind that the agency, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, organized a quality and safety check of products, special attention will be paid to goods from the consumer basket.
According to Alexey Gruzdev, thanks to such control systems as "Mercury", "Honest mark" labeling and so on, dairy producers have almost no opportunity to falsify products.
‘Manufacturers are trying to optimize recipes for solvent demand, but there is no subject for falsification. Last year, the share of such dairy products was in the range of 1-2%,’ the expert said.
