Production of goat milk products on an industrial scale has started in Adygea
‘As part of the creation of a large-scale cluster in the field of dairy goat breeding, LLC Agroholding Mirny has launched a milk processing plant in the Republic. An Italian production line has been put into operation, production of finished products from goat milk has begun, and the production of a wide range of products has been tested. The product range includes 15 types - yoghurts, cheese, cottage cheese, kefir, butter and other fermented dairy products,’ the report says.
Today, during a visit to the enterprise, which is located in the village Trekhrechny in Maikop district, acting Prime Minister of Adygea Gennady Mitrofanov examined the shop, the equipment installed there, and got acquainted with the product line. According to the CEO of the company Elena Gangalo, the products meet European quality standards and are in demand in the consumer market. It is planned that products from healthy hypoallergenic goat milk will be delivered to children's organizations of the Republic, said in the press service.
‘The capacity of the milk processing plant is 12 tons per shift, and annual production can reach 6 thousand tons. After reaching the design capacity, LLC Agroholding Mirny will become the largest producer of dairy products from goat milk in Russia at the second stage, and later - the largest in Europe,’ the press service of the Head of the Republic quotes Gangalo.
At the second stage of the project for the construction of the cluster for 2020-2021, it is planned to build two dairy complexes for 3 thousand milking cows each, as well as create a baby food production from goat milk. The third stage provides for scaling the project to 12 dairy farms for 24 thousand milking cows, launching the production of goat milk powder, which is in demand in the Russian and foreign markets, added in the press service.
Earlier it was reported that until 2022, it is planned to provide the company Mirny-Adygea with a subsidy from the Federal and regional budgets in the amount of up to 120 million rubles. Sberbank provided the company with a preferential investment loan in the amount of 466 million rubles to implement the project. To reduce the tax burden, Mirny-Adygea is exempt from property tax and transport tax.
