The Russian economy has recovered, although the situation on global markets remains difficult and unstable. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this at a meeting on economic issues on Tuesday.
‘I would like to note that despite the general unstable situation in the global economy and complex processes on world markets, the Russian economy has recovered,’ noted the head of state.
According to the President, Russia has completely overcome the recession in the economy caused by the pandemic, the country's GNP has reached the pre-crisis level.
‘According to the results of seven months of this year, the gross national product has reached the pre-crisis level. The decline caused by the coronavirus epidemic has been completely overcome,’ Putin said.
