Raw milk production in Russia reached 11.3 mln tons in 9 months of 2015

Russian agricultural enterprises produced 11.3 mln tons of raw milk during the period from January to September 2015. This is 2% more compared to the same period of 2014.
Raw milk production in all categories of households decreased by 0.3% to 24.1 mln tons, according to Rosstat data.
During the period under consideration milk production in peasant farm enterprises decreased by 3.3% to 11.2 mln tons, in personal subsidiary plots – increased by 5.2% and reached 1.56 mln tons.
