Restrictions imposed in Moscow region due to the risk of spreading coronavirus infection did not affect the consumption of dairy products by the population. This was announced by Minister of agriculture and food of the region Andrey Razin at the conference, writes The DairyNews with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of agriculture.
"There are no problems with sales today. The pandemic played its role: the consumption of dairy products in the Central Federal district and in the capital region has not decreased, in a number of areas it has even increased", said Andrey Razin.
On July 21, the Minister presented the possibilities of the dairy industry in the region at the conference "New niches and opportunities in the dairy market: the chances given by the crisis".
"Compared to the same period last year, prices for commercial milk in Moscow region increased by 5-6%", said Andrey Razin.
The Minister assessed the market situation as positive.
