"In the 36th week, the average receipt showed a sharp and significant drop. In the period from 2 to 8 September, on average, during one visit to the store, the Russians paid at the checkout 516 rubles., which is less than in the previous week by 8.3%", - said in the study.
In annual terms, the indicator has decreased by 0.6%.
The decrease in the weekly receipt of Russians occurred against the background of a reduction in weekly expenses of citizens. For the period from 2 to 8 September weekly expenses of the average Russian family decreased by 10% to 4,107 rubles.
The research of “ROMIR” holding is based on consumption data of 40 thousand inhabitants of Russia, 15 thousand households in 220 cities with the population over 10 thousand people.
