“Romir”: the share of Russians who do not save on anything rose to 24%

"Over the year, the proportion of Russians who do not save on anything has noticeably increased. If in 2016, 11% of respondents gave such a response, in 2017 - 18%, in the current survey 24% of Russians said this. More often than the average for the sample, such a response was given by men than women, by Russians of 18-24 years old and respondents with high income", - said in the message of "Romir".

According to the results of the study, the number of Russians who admit to continuing savings on certain items of expenditure has significantly decreased.
As before, most of the respondents save on food (17%), but this figure has decreased by more than half compared to 2017. Every eighth (12%) reported saving on travelling versus 30% similar responses a year earlier.

Less than 10% of Russians reported about continuing savings on other items of expenditure. 9% of respondents continue to buy new clothes and shoes with caution, 6% of respondents save on entertainment and delicacies, 5% on alcohol and cigarettes, 4% on restaurants. The share of savings on the remaining expenses decreased to 1-3%.
