Roskachestvo: in 10% of dairy products there were found some violations in 2016

The Head of "Roskachestvo" Maxim Protasov during the press-conference devoted to results of work in 2016, said that in 10% of dairy products there were identified various violations, reports The DairyNews from the event.
"We saw the presence of Escherichia coli and bacterial contamination in 30% of butter," - said Maxim Protasov.
In general, according to the results of the inspection of "Roskachestvo" in 2016, 12% of the violations is due to inadequate security, and 80% - due to violations of storage conditions. At the same time, the share of falsification amounted to 18% of all violations.
According to the Head of "Roskachestvo", at the moment it is impossible to determine the type and quantity of vegetable fats, including palm oil used in products. "We are trying to harmonize appropriate methods, - told Mr. Protasov. According to him, vegetable fats have been identified in 6% of the examined butter.
"More than 10% of manufacturers said they agree with the identified violations", – said Victor Evtukhov, state Secretary, Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation.
In 2017 "Roskachestvo" plans to inspect kefir, cottage cheese, sour cream, “Russian” cheese, condensed milk and powdered infant formula.
Earlier it was reported that "Roskachestvo" approved new regulations, according to which for publication of the results there will be indicated not only a manufacturer but also a trading point at which the product was purchased.
