Rospotrebnadzor against Belarusian suggestions to postpone the Techregulations for the meat and dairy
“It is suggested by the Belarusian party to delay coming into force the Technical Regulations for milk and dairy products, meat and meat products, fish and fish products and alcohol products ” – Rospotrebnadzor noted.
Besides that, the Belarusian party has also suggested to exclude several processed food products of animal origin from the list subjected to veterinary control. In this regard, Rospotrebnadzor claims – “The Belarusian party referring to the international experience makes an unprecedented attempt to interfere in the internal organization of the system of supervision over the quality and food safety”.
The Technical Regulations on the “Food safety” should come into force on the 1st of July. The Eurasian Commission plans to consider the remained controversies at the level of deputy prime ministers of the Customs Union member countries (Russia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan) on the day the Technical Regulations will come into force.
