Rospotrebnadzor stressed the integrity of the manufacturer of dairy products – plant "Opolie" in Vladimir region (part of PepsiCo), stating that the company has recalled all products made with milk from farms affected by FMD.
In the letter of Rospotrebnadzor, published on October 28, it is emphasized that "the withdrawal of the company's products launched on 21 October and has already completed. They withdraw products of a limited range, only those items that are not exposed to re-pasteurization or sterilization by the technology ".
"The products produced since October 20, and exposed to re-pasteurization is safe for consumers," - said in Rospotrebnadzor.
Recall, withdrawal of products is a preventive measure, according to the statements of regulatory agencies. 3831 tons of products, including: kefir with fat content of 1% and 3.2%, milk and curdled milk are to be withdrawn.
