Rospotrebnadzor: Lithuanian dairy products will be returned to the Russian market gradually
Temporary acting head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova positively rates Lithuanian dairy products chances to come back to the Russian market. “There are prospects, but the situation is progressing gradually”, - she said the previous week. According to her words, as soon as Russia gets all necessary documents proving the quality and safety of products, import is allowed. Lithuania has eliminated a number of objections made on the Russian side. In December-January two sites - Peno Zhvaygzhdes and Rokishkio Suris - were allowed to resume shipments to Russia.
Rospotrebnadzor since October 7 2013 suspended deliveries to Russia dairy products from Lithuania because of claims to its quality. Claims referred to Peno Zhvaygzhdes, Shilutes Rambinas, Svalya, Rokishkio Tikras and some other dairy companies.
