In the course of negotiations with Rosselkhoznadzor Indian representatives expressed readiness to supply dairy products, in particular milk powder and butter, to Russia. India is one of the biggest world suppliers of food, has an access to many international markets and is sure to be able to meet the Russian requirements.

India is one of the biggest world suppliers of food, has an access to many international markets and is sure to be able to meet the Russian requirements. This was said by Vasily Lavrovsky, Rosselkhoznadzor representative.
The country may also start exporting to Russia buffalo meat and powdered eggs. Recently a large Indian dairy company Amul expressed interest in Russian market. Probably Amul will become the second Indian company exporting dairy products to Russia.
