Rosstat: agricultural enterprises of the Russian Federation produced 14.8 million tons of milk for 11 months of the year

As it follows from the materials of Rosstat, milk production in the sector of agricultural enterprises reached 14.8 million tons on December 1, 2018, reports The DairyNews.
The indicator has increased by 3.7% compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, in November agricultural enterprises produced 1.2 million tons of cattle milk (+4.1% to the level of 2017).
According to the operational data of Rosstat, milk yield per cow in agricultural enterprises averaged 5947 kg at the beginning of December.
