Rosstat: For the first three quarters of the year 24,03 million tons of raw milk was produced in Russia

24031,9 thousand tons of raw milk was produced on farms of all categories in Russia in January-September of the current year, according to the materials of Rosstat.
At the same time the total volume of milk production decreased by 0.1% in comparison with the same period in 2015, according to information of The DairyNews.
In households, the decline in production amounted to 3.6% - 10879,2 thousand tons of milk was produced.
On private farms the index increased by 3% y the result of the first three quarters of the year and reached 1609,5 thousand tons of milk.
In the segment of agricultural enterprises the production growth made 1,8% compared to the same period last year, in total agricultural associations produced 11543,1 thousand tons of milk.
